We are currently searching for actively enrolled Marshall University students to join our dynamic team located in Huntington, WV as an Technology Sales - Business Development Intern!

Job Responsibilities:

  • Engaging with customers in a consultative approach
  • Develop client relationships and work to retain existing accounts
  • Endless curiosity in digital product markets
  • Communicate information about calls accurately and effectively to management and clients
  • Understanding that closing B2B deals starts with accurately qualifying the BANT (Budget, Authority, Need, Timeline)
  • Research leads and generate lists of potential customers
  • Wisdom to respect the importance of every phone call
  • Competence in learning and discussing Artificial Intelligence, Virtual Reality, Internet of Things, Software as a Service, Enterprise Resource Planning and Cloud-based solutions
  • Big picture thinking fueling perseverance through follow up calls, leaving voice mails, coordinating appointments, presenting metrics
  • Integrity of intel reported daily into CRM and of email correspondence sent on behalf of our clients
  • Coordinating successful go-to-market services for business owners + client stakeholders
  • Review and provide input on presentations and client marketing materials
  • Research and evaluate competitor’s marketing strategies and digital content
  • Contribute to the creation of email campaigns and social media content
  • Use data to create models that depict client and/or industry needs
  • Ensure proper messaging is being distributed through client interactions
  • Assist with website updates and content as needed.‚Äč

Personal & Professional Profile:

  • Some sales or marketing experience preferred
  • Excellent oral, written, and verbal communication skills
  • General knowledge of the IT industry and leading products strongly preferred.
  • Ability to learn quickly and retain knowledge.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a high level of integrity.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to self-motivate.
  • Daily time management and the ability to work independently or under supervision.
  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Sales and Marketing, Management Information Systems or related field.
