SMB Sales Hunter


Primary Objective

SMB Sales Operations is responsible for converting hunting opportunities (OIPs) and leads (within assigned threshold) in SFDC and follow them up with partners to drive closing of opportunities. The SMB Sales Ops is also responsible for managing and documenting in SFDC status, close date, technology profile, etc. for all SMB/C Space opportunities and leads.


  • Must be self organized and thorough in details
  • Must be proficient and knowledgeable about  key Cisco Internal and Partner Tools, including CCW, SFDC and SAVM
  • Must have the ability to articulate and deliver business value to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Must be able to demonstrate good collaboration and influence skills with assigned partners and customers
  • Sell and speak the Cisco language (tools, resources, acronyms, telling Cisco story)


  • Interacts with partners to drive closing of hunting opportunities (OIPs)
  • Consults partner on best fitting promotion to close opportunities and does cross- and up-sell based on e.g. bundles
  • It has a close collaboration with SMB Sales Manager or Geo-TAM for bigger and complex opportunities for further processing
  • Manages opportunity documentation in SFDC incl. status, close date, technology profile, etc. for all SMB/C Space opportunities and leads
