The Client Sales Associate (CSA) works with a dedicated group of partners in establishing close relationships with their sales account reps and pre-sales project engineers.  The candidate will ensure execution of the SMB/C Space Go-to-Market (GTM) plan for an assigned territory/region.  This is accomplished by focusing on pipeline creation, fully understanding business opportunities through inbound leads, and engaging with partners to drive customer demand.  Overall, the CSA is responsible for the execution of value-added demand generation activities via the partner community, with some Client-led engagement.


  • Opportunity pipeline management (including strategic/organic growth) to meet required KPI’s and drive demand generation.
  • Detect and develop customer opportunities being managed by the partner’s AMs and Pre-Sales, and position Client solutions in each opportunity (tracked in SFDC).
  • Schedule daily meetings with territory resellers and maintain a strong appointment calendar.
  • Follow-up on assigned leads with partners.
  • Assist the partner pre-sales engineers in developing, configuring and validating projects (CSAs with a technical profile).
  • Work as a liaison with other Client resources (TAMs, GTAMs, SEs).
  • Participate as a representative for regional events when necessary.
  • Engage in product training for partners to showcase Client benefits.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and vendors with the ultimate purpose of creating demand and adding service value within the assigned region.
  • Help and train in the use of Client tools and programs (Cisco Commerce Workspace (CCW), Salesforce.com, Cisco Rewards, Promotions, etc.).
  • Have a general knowledge of the IT industry, with the ability to learn about individual systems and products quickly and accurately.


  • Combination of a university degree and/or two years full cycle IT (B2B) sales and/or marketing experience.
  • Excellent oral, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills & Salesforce (SFDC) experience a plus.
  • Must be self-motivated, creative, flexible, with a strong work ethic, and exhibit a high level of integrity.
  • Must have reliable transportation and live in a centrally located area within the assigned territory.
  • Strong organization, presentation and time management skills. 
  • Excellent planning, time management, decision making, and organizational skills.
  • Experience working with CRM applications.
  • Fluency in both English and French required.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • Experience working with CRM applications is a must.
  • Fluency in both English and native language (Spanish or Portuguese) required. 
  • Follow all N3 Information Security policies and processes as required per the job function/role of this position.


  • Activities (Quality Engagements): Pipeline opportunities generation via sales activities. Sales activities are defined as: Sales, Marketing, and Partner interactions that generate into pipeline opportunities.
  • A pipeline of New Opportunities Created: a. # of Incoming generated deals from forms, Partners, or other sources that convert into a sales opportunity.
  • Bookings: Booked Value in $USD in the Geo Non-Named Segment.
