Summary
 
Grows Logicalis profit generated from HPE sales in Central Region (Michigan, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Minnesota). Takes lead in hunting, proposing, and closing Logicalis HPE solutions including Simplivity, Synergy, Nimble, Gen10, Aruba, 3PAR, Infosight, other HPE product lines, and associated Logicalis Professional Services. Develops opportunities and sells these solutions to both new clients as well as existing clients. 
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
 
Obtains knowledge of client organizations and their infrastructure composition. 
 
Develops client relationships and builds strong business relationships with associated partners. 
 
Develops pipeline and leads demand generation activities for associated products and services. 
 
Acts as sales pursuit leader; sets strategy for opportunity pursuit and provides guidance to Logicalis team members and partners.
 
Provides HPE product and Logicalis Professional Services subject matter expertise to clients. 
 
Generates product and services presentations, proposals, quotations, and sales contracts. Creates strong business cases and high level financial models including ROI and TCO analysis to help in positioning and selling of technology-based solutions to solve business problems.
 
Handles customer objections and gains customer commitment to procure product and Professional Services from Logicalis.
 
Speaks with authority and has point of view (POV) about industry and/or client’s business, and how Logicalis solutions bring benefits to their enterprise and drives valued business outcomes.  
 
Understands client’s industry business challenges and engages in opportunities and solutions that bring value to these clients. 
 
Maintains awareness of industry trends and directions in IT solutions space.
 
Adopts and masters Logicalis Sales Process including use of all related tools, artifacts, and CRM; participates in consistent forecasting cadence process with accuracy and timeliness.
 
Demonstrates and actively promotes an understanding and commitment to the mission of Logicalis through performing behaviors consistent with the organization's values.
 
Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations as well as policies and procedures of Logicalis in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical and professional behaviors.
 
Supports and conducts self in a manner consistent with customer service expectations.

Education/Experience/Technical Requirements/Certifications
 
   Education
 
Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
 
   Experience / Technical Requirements
 
5 years’ experience combining products and services into technology solutions that meet client’s business needs within markets they serve.
 
Familiarity with provider and software solution providers or ISV business models and challenges. 
 
Understands business workflow within accounts and industries they serve.
 
Understands different contacts/positions within client’s enterprise and is comfortable consulting within and outside of data center. 
 
Demonstrated knowledge of current solution trends, rules/regulations, legislation, compliance requirements, etc.
 
Member of or associated with industry organizations that furthers growth as trusted advisor with Account Executives, Area Sales Directors and clients.
 
Proficient use of all Microsoft Office applications, CRM and other sales tools.
 
   May consider an equivalent combination of education and experience.
 
   Certifications
 
HPE sales and technical certifications.
Aruba sales and technical certifications. 
Other related sales and technical certifications. 
 
 
Other Skills and Abilities
 
Excellent communication skills – oral and written presentation abilities.
 
Ability to confidently and professionally interact with external clients and internal teams. 
 
Strong customer interaction skills.  
 
Self-starter with excellent organizational, administrative and interpersonal skills.
