Centauri is seeking a mid-level Aerospace Engineer - Orbit Analyst to support one of our IC customers in Reston, VA.
Have a working knowledge of orbital mechanics to include experience with two-line element (TLE) sets and STK (or similar tool)
Works with the space intelligence community to identify priority objects for collection. Will employ a blend of data sets to produce sensor tasking and then analyze and exploit collected sensor data.
Excel at performing in a dynamic work environment that will be developing cutting edge space situational awareness (SSA) tactics, techniques, and procedures, in real time, to meet emerging DSC mission needs
We are looking for a mission and orbit analyst with 1 to 5 years’ experience in the field
Minimum 1 year of experience working satellite operations and/or Defensive Space Control (DSC)
Experience with tasking, collecting, and analyzing SSA sensor data provided by DoD, Intelligence Community, and/or commercial sensors is critical
Security Requirements: Active TS/SCI CI Poly security clearance required
