The Marketing Strategy Director will oversee a team that includes a Sales Strategist and interns dedicated to the strategy and support of new business development. This team works hand-in-hand with the Marketing and Sales teams to showcase Giant’s value, build demand for our products, and capture new client opportunities. This position reports into the VP of Operations.
This person will be responsible for leading the sales strategy function, from telling our story to potential clients – who is Giant, and what can we do – and creating compelling sales narratives, to supporting the sales team in communicating campaign plans in order to close new business (both in person and via email), along with branded content strategy. In no particular order, duties include:
1.) Establish and drive vision for the positioning and packaging of Giant Media’s native and outstream video advertising products to our brand advertiser client base
2.) Manage sales strategy process and team members
3.) Work closely with heads of Sales and Marketing teams to maintain seamless sales strategy workflow
4.) Develop a deep understanding of Giant Media’s capabilities and technology to create compelling sales materials and proposal responses
5.) Identify and craft product narratives and associated materials designed to help understanding and adoption of Giant Media products and services
6.) Provide original ideas and client feedback to product team to help improve our ad products
7.) Oversee branded content lifecycle – from ideation through execution
