In addition, RI has country offices registered as affiliates of one of the alliance members in an additional 18 countries.
RI is looking to for an experienced Health and Nutrition Project Manager to lead the implementation of the UNHCR and BPRM co-funded health and nutrition project in refugee settings in Maban, Upper Nile. The Health and Nutrition Project manager will lead all project implementation, developing workplans, spenddown plans, HR and input into BVA meetings, providing technical support to enable quality and effective program implementation (including supervising activities, capacity building field teams, M&E, reporting), coordinate with key actors, set up and monitoring accountability mechanisms, facilitate learning within the project and build on best practices
S/he will by leading the overall implementation of health and nutrition interventions across 9 PHCCs/PHCUs. S/he will provide supervision and training to local staff to allow them to implement quality programmes. The Health and Nutrition Project Manager is also in charge of writing reports, developing and ensuring good quality data collection, recording, analysis and storage, assist with ensuring adequate stocks, provide training to local staff as needed, and monitor overall health and nutrition situation in Maban and observe for potential outbreaks.

The ideal candidate will be passionate, enthusiastic and driven, and have experience of working with national and expatriate team members in nutrition programmes in complex and protracted emergency responses. A demonstrable commitment to national capacity strengthening is mandatory. S/he will have demonstrable experience of managing health programmes, have excellent written and verbal communications skills and will be fluent in English. Experience working in project management within an INGO in conflict-induced fragile settings is mandatory, with previous experience in South Sudan desirable.
