Job Title: Senior Business Systems Analyst, WAM

Therefore, we are currently looking to fill the position of Senior Business Systems Analyst to join us in evolving NSPs Work and Asset Management (WAM) solution.
The Work and Asset Management (WAM) solution will transform the way NS Power delivers services to its customers. The project will deliver new capabilities and tools for planning and scheduling work, new mobile tools for field technicians, and upgraded systems and processes to support the delivery of services to customers.
As a member of the WAM Project team, you will join a dynamic group of responsive professionals leading cross-divisional and enterprise-wide business transformation during this multi-year project and the continuous improvement program that follows.
With your project management experience, you will work closely with and assist the Leadership Team in: writing project statements, consulting with sponsors and stakeholders, the creation of communication plans, and change management plans. You will participate in: organizing meetings, scheduling resources, and managing expectations of system owners. You must be comfortable with presenting results to sponsors and stakeholders.
Overall, the Senior Business Systems Analyst works with minimum of supervision to provide excellence in all aspects of the project role. You will be responsible for your personal safety and that of your co-workers by observing all Occupational Health and Safety Rules and Regulations. You will be accountable for environmental performance as it relates to the environmental management system processes and initiatives.
Skills, Capabilities and Experience:
A post-secondary degree (Computer Science, Library Science, Engineering, Mathematics), with 5-10 years’ experience in utilization and understanding of standard business analysis processes and methodologies, is required for this position. A professional Business Analyst Certification is preferred. As the successful candidate, you will be a leader of people with a demonstrated ability to create and promote a climate of pride, commitment and participation among your peers. Requires excellent interpersonal skills, consensus building skills, team building skills and the ability to follow through and complete projects.
The successful candidate must be willing to complete a Criminal Background Check.
Reports To: Business Lead – Work Management
Salary: Commensurable with qualifications and experience.
