Moores is a thriving law firm that is looking for mid to senior level lawyer to join its high performing workplace relations team.

The Position

You will work alongside our award winning Practice Leaders to provide advice and representation on a broad range of workplace relations, anti-discrimination and child safety matters.

Working with closely with commercial and NFP clients in the education, housing, disability, health and NFP sectors, you will be responsible for:

  • representing clients in Courts and Tribunals, briefing external counsel as required
  • providing advice on the employment lifecycle – hiring, managing and firing staff
  • advising on employment compliance and award interpretation
  • advising and representing employers in workplace bargaining
  • advising on responding to child safety, whistleblowing and privacy complaints
  • responding to Royal Commissions
  • developing and delivering training
  • drafting contracts, deeds and policies.

The practice is highly regarded for its innovative, proactive and pragmatic approach to dispute resolution and workplace relations issues. Our strength is in developing a strong understanding of client needs and providing commercial and solution-oriented advice.
