As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, your key responsibility will be to repair and maintain mechanical equipment on drill rigs such as engines, motors, and conveyor systems. You will observe and listen to mechanical devices in operation to locate malfunctions, remove defective parts, lubricate and clean parts, and perform minor work on equipment such as changing clutches, filters, hinges, etc.

What it takes:

  • 2+ years of related mechanical experience
  • 6 months of prior welding experience (desired)
  • Formal diesel mechanic training program (desired)
  • Ability to provide own hand tools
  • Mechanical aptitude
