Description

Position Overview:

Support the Supply Chain, Engineering, and Program Management functions by facilitating sourcing and purchasing, purchase order status tracking, and material delivery status through receiving utilizing company provided tools including SAP Business ByDesign ERP, and coordinating with other Aurora functions such as material inventory management, as needed.

Minimum Requirement:

1.  Education: High School Diploma or GED with 4 Year College Degree in Business, Finance, or Engineering preferred.
2.  Computer Skills:  MS Suite (Word, Powerpoint, Excel) required with preference for directly applicable experience utilizing ERP systems for procurement processes.
3.  Service Oriented:  This role supports the success of the programs and engineering teams in the expedient procurement of materials.  The successful candidate will act proactively with a demonstrated ability to handle multiple items of high priority simultaneously with a sense of urgency, and have a strong service centric attitude towards their internal customers in the conduct of their duties.
4.  Communication:  Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with internal and external customers and work in a team environment with solid written and verbal skills.

Desired Requirements:

• 2 + years of purchasing, sourcing, and/or accounting experience
• Experience in sourcing aerospace parts, tools, materials, supplies, equipment and services preferred
• Experience working with an ERP system; preferably SAP

Physical Requirements:

Able to work within a manufacturing environment and lift 40 pounds

Shift Requirements:

Able to work overtime as needed
