JOB DESCRIPTION:

Seeking a cross functional financial SAP ByDesign subject matter expert to join our ERP team as a dedicated resource to the finance department. This individual will be a well-organized professional able to assess business processes and implement changes to meet business objectives in a changing work environment during and after the re-implementation of a cloud environment, SAP Business ByDesign. Experience and technical skills will be leveraged to design reports, create and maintain scheduled systematic background jobs, respond to issues and train users within the finance organization, ensure data integrity is maintained, and support the ERP team with on-going issue resolution and optimization efforts.

Job Qualifications:

  • At least two years’ experience and demonstratable technical proficiency with SAP Business by Design cloud-based ERP implementations and operations;

  • Solid ERP acumen with troubleshooting, root cause analysis and problem-solving skills;

  • Capable of handling multiple projects in a fast paced, growth environment;

  • An approachable, flexible personality with strong customer service skills;

  • Strong interpersonal and team building skills - ability to work with a diverse team and impart change across functional and business boundaries;

  • Experience with International multi-currency company with annual revenues >$100M;

  • Government contracting experience and familiarity with indirect cost allocations a plus;

  • The ability to work independently on complex technical tasks; and

  • Ability to define and implement process improvements and/or best practices.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Assist with implementation including design, setup, data migration and report customization;

  • Learn customized components of system including labor dilution and indirect cost allocation at target and actual rates and be able to troubleshoot and modify going forward as needed to manage the company’s anticipated growth;

  • Create custom reports as requested by Finance Department to facilitate labor time collection statistics, balance sheet account reconciliations, income statement variance analysis and incurred cost submissions to the US Government;

  • Timely review, response and resolution of inquiries from Finance Department employees;

  • Provide hands on training to Finance Department on system capabilities to automate and optimize processes;

  • Draft standard operating procedures to document task specifics; and

  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

BA/BS in Accounting Information Systems, IT, Computer Science, or related field; 5 years of ERP experience.
