Job Qualifications:

Review, analyze, provide disposition, and corrective action suggestions for discrepant conditions occurring during production for all AWV programs


Specific Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze nonconforming conditions and provide disposition for the nonconformances.
  • Coordinate with Engineering and Production departments to determine cause of nonconformances.
  • Issue stock sweeps of suspect parts and maintain a log of nonconforming items.
  • Provide Aurora liaison engineering support to Customers’ Engineering and Quality departments, and any government agencies (i.e. DCMA) as necessary.
  • Act as a member of the Corrective Action Board.
  • Interpret drawings, specifications and processes
  • Provide and retain complete documentation of non-conformances for trending and historical references.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Industrial Engineering plus 5 years of aerospace industry experience, or 10+ years of experience in aircraft parts manufacturing and assembly.
  • Knowledge of composite technology, layup, cure, trim, and assembly, plus composite repair experience.
  • Basic knowledge of advanced inspection media and techniques (Faro Arm, Laser Tracker, etc.)
  • Knowledge of machining and metals processing.
  • Knowledge MS Office applications required
  • Must be a U.S. Person

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds and move between various buildings on site

Shift Requirements: 

  • Normal first shift.May be required to support other shifts as required, on an on-call basis
