Description

The Account Manager position is responsible for sales, new business development, and account management of assigned account(s).  The position is instrumental in helping the Retail Division meet its Order, Revenue, and Profitability growth goals in accordance with the vision and values of the organization.  This is a high-profile entrepreneurial-oriented opportunity that demands a technically oriented, highly motivated individual with strong sales, communications and organizational skills who is eager to become part of a rapidly-growing, fast-paced organization. The individual selected will be able to effectively plan and implement a well thought out strategy to meet assigned goals.   

 

Position Responsibilities: 

  • Majority of focus is on Business Development using consultative (solution selling) approach to close new, very large customers.
  • Account Development/Management
  • Prospecting/closing customers at the C-LEVELS (CFO, CIO, CTO, SVP, etc.)
  • Utilize Salesforce CRM to organize manage prospects/customers and report activity
  • Represent Wincor Nixdorf professionally at sales & networking events
  • Ability to gather & analyze market data, provide new ideas and suggestions to enhance the selling process
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Role Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years Business Development / Hunting sales experience. 
  • Strong account development/management skills and experience required.
  • Experience selling to C-level prospects (CFO, CIO, CTO, SVP, etc.)
  • Strong Consultative/Solution Selling experience.
  • Ability to show proven track record of closing very large new customers
  • Competitive mindset; ability to also work in a global team environment
  • Travel approximately 50+%
