The Manager of Digital & Social Media Marketing is responsible for leveraging the efficiency of digital and social channels to optimize guest engagement. 

This person will oversee the Mimi’s brand website, email member contact strategy/calendar and program management, marketing campaign development/implementation, competitive activity and inbound/outbound digital strategies.

The ideal candidate has a passion for delivering results, driven by continual testing of new tactics. The successful person is one with keen strategic vision and who possesses the experience and knowledge to maximize the current Digital and Social Media landscape – as well as the creative vision around how to grow traffic and engagement with new media opportunities. 

This position will own calendar and implementation, while managing through and winning support of a cross-functional team.  This position will develop programs that integrate into larger brand objectives.

The candidate should thrive in a fast-paced environment, be a self-starter, enjoy success and be team oriented.  This position is classified as full-time, exempt.


  • Leads the Digital and Social Marketing strategy and implementation.

  • Serves as point for digital/social agency partner relationships.

  • Works cross functionally to plan and execute social media marketing calendar.

  • Strengthens the brand’s relationship with Guests -- leveraging our digital community and developing strategies to grow our database and social engagement.

  • Utilize Guest feedback tools to understand level of engagement and conversations about Mimi’s Cafe and how it can create new brand opportunities.

  • Responsible for management of the digital and social media budget.Creates and manages timelines.

  • Manage and grow E Club.Provide on-line support for loyalty, catering and on-line ordering initiatives.

  • Maintain and develop content for the website, including SEO strategy.

  • Track and report on competitive programs, producing a competitive calendar.

  • Assists in planning and building the Digital and Social Marketing strategy.

  • Strengthens the brand’s relationship with Guests by leveraging our digital community and developing strategies to grow our database and social engagement.

  • All other duties as assigned.


  • Experienced managing agencies, timelines and budgets (proposals and execution).

  • Candidate should be fully immersed in all major social networks with demonstrated understanding of how to produce results with digital marketing.

  • Experienced integrating digital and social media efforts into broader media and marketing strategies.

  • Copy writing and editing for digital channels, and developing editorial calendars.

  • Versed in search engine optimization best practices, search marketing, social media optimization and related analytics.

  • Strong written and oral communications skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably with a concentration in advertising, marketing, or communications 

  • The ideal candidate will possess 4+ years of digital and social experience
