Electrical Engineer Low Power
This person will be critical to maintaining the progression of our projects within some of the shortest expected scheduled deadlines we have ever seen. Going forward, this role will be essential to achieving a steady flow of product releases and maintaining a good product cadence with technologies that are brand new to the medical device market.
I am sure you can see by now how critical to the R&D Team you will be. Your abilities to be able to apply a broad knowledge of electrical and RF communication design and product development skills to design next generation neuro-stimulators is going to be critical to your and our success. Having a firm grasp of concept engineering, analytical and numerical modeling techniques, sensitivity analyses, yield prediction, design optimization and design for manufacturing is a must. We are looking for an expert in applying these methods to support the development and modeling of low power electronics.
The Research & Development team is focused on changing the world through implantable medical device innovation. Starting from strong fundamentals including analytical and numerical modeling techniques, sensitivity analyses, yield prediction and optimization, our team designs for the effective manufacturing and deployment of next generation medical device technology. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be part of the team designated as an expert who applies these methods to circuits and electronics for low power electrical stimulation, signal acquisition, signal processing, and the data communications necessary for our active implantable medical device products designed to treat epilepsy and other conditions.
You must have in your past life, worked in an electrical engineering design role with in-depth technical experience in the areas of low-power circuit design. You will need a firm grasp of electrical engineering principals and theory from root principals. Experience in development process steps including concept engineering, design (modeling, analysis, sensitivity, design for manufacturing and test, yield prediction, characterization), verification and design transfer is what we are looking for.
More Important Must Haves:
We can’t emphasize enough how critical it will be for you to have a minimum of 3 plus years’ experience currently working on low-power circuit design and electrical engineering modeling and theory. You will need to have this experience to be a part of our EE & ASIC team!
