Description

Coverent is seeking a Program Manager to lead a key consulting program focused on the application of data-driven analytics to measure and improve mission performance for a client in the US Intelligence Community. The successful candidate will possess an entrepreneurial spirit, strategic vision, exceptional communication skills, and at least three years’ experience managing a team of seven or more consultants. Position Responsibilities

The Program Manager will provide comprehensive leadership to a contract with multiple projects:

  • Support contract in full-time role balancing management and consulting responsibilities
  • Provide leadership, management, and coaching to 3-5 project managers across 10-20 FTE portfolio of projects
  • Serve as the primary interface with the Government Contracting Officer
  • Prepare the monthly PMR document summarizing program status, opportunities, and risks; brief the Senior Management Team
  • Monitor quality at the contract level and resolve issues as needed
  • Collaborate with other Program Managers to improve company management practices
  • Participate in team performance reviews and goal setting
  • Continuously gather information about customer needs and present ideas for increased mission impact to Coverent senior management
  • Serve as contracting hiring manager; collaborate with Coverent Recruiting to ensure full program staffing and to identify candidates for anticipated growth

Education and Work Experience Required

  • US Citizenship
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with Full-Scope Polygraph
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least three years’ experience managing a team of seven or more consultants
