Coverent is seeking an Information Management Specialist for one of its current contracts.

Position Responsibilities

  • Independently provide a full range of administrative support to a department of over 70 people.
  • Work Monday through Friday 8AM - 430PM. Please expect to regularly need to work until after 5PM when tasks require. 
  • Take initiative to ensure the smooth function of all administrative activities within the department and respond quickly to needs of department personnel.
  • Know the daily activities of the department and address complex issues that arise while working independently.
  • Exercise sound judgement, interact with tact, multitask, and complete all assigned duties in a timely fashion.
  • Use superior organizational and planning skills to track all assigned tasks through to completion.
  • Welcome visitors and guests and guide them to the proper location.
  • Have a professional appearance, dressing in business casual attire.
  • Act as the sole focal point for all personnel management processes within the department such as employee check-ins/check-outs and training.
  • Coordinate all activities for annual offsites.
  • Document notes and actions during a variety of meetings.
  • Manage office supplies including keeping printers supplied with paper.
  • Interface with cleaning staff to ensure a clean office environment.
  • Interface with IT personnel.
  • Oversee the repair, installation, movement and/or removal of office equipment and furniture.
  • Coordinate travel for executives withpotentially high volumes of travel, as well as manage receipts and ensure appropriate reimbursement to travelers. 
  • Organize welcome/farewell parties for the department.
  • Pick up and disseminate mail.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Full-Scope Polygraph.
  • Be energetic and have a pleasant and welcoming demeanor.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with MS Office, especially MS Powerpoint and MS Outlook (Outlook calendaring expertise, including managing executives' calendars, is a must).
  • Ability to perform in an individual contributor role while also excelling in a team environment.
