Temporary Gift Operations Administrator
The West Point Association of Graduates (WPAOG) is dedicated to furthering the ideals and promoting the welfare of the United States Military Academy (USMA), and to supporting and serving its graduates. USMA is renowned as one of the world's preeminent leader development institutions. The student body, or Corps of Cadets, numbers 4,400 and each year approximately 1,000 cadets graduate and are commissioned as second lieutenants in the U.S. Army.
The WPAOG is seeking a Temporary Gift Operations Administrator. This position reports directly to the Gift Operations Manager.
Gift Operations is housed in the Advancement Services Department unit of the Development office. The incumbent in this position has the technical knowledge required for the operation of the automated fund raising records of the WPAOG. This position is responsible for processing all Cash, Net Community, Credit Card, Government Allotment, EFT donations, pledges and printing and verifying of tax receipts. In addition, this position includes the ability to do the daily and weekly reporting as well as processing, applying for, receiving and paying matching gifts.
This position requires proficiency with Microsoft Office products, particularly word and excel. Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills are required. The successful candidate will be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously, manage deadlines, and pay very close attention to detail.
A high school diploma is required and an Associate's degree in business or accounting is preferred. Experience in nonprofit organization and/or higher education is a plus. Please submit cover letter, resume, and letters of reference.
