Associate Digital Project Coordinator/Producer

The Creative Services Associate Project Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the production and deployment of all digital marketing and communications materials for the San Francisco Symphony’s e-comms and online platforms. Reporting to the Creative Services Studio Manager, the Associate Project Coordinator will be adept at fostering strong relationships and working closely with a range of internal stakeholders across departments, and have a working experience of digital CMS systems. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented with a passion for process, a strong interest in digital design and production, a collaborative nature, and a positive attitude.



  • Working with the Digital Producer and Copywriter, create and oversee schedules for all digital deliverables and updates, including digital ads, web updates, e-comms and social, ensuring appropriate distribution of time and resources.
  • Manage and schedule all incoming requests for digital deliverables and web updates, ensuring timely and accurate delivery and deployment.
  • Oversee proofing process to internal and external stakeholders to ensure accuracy of all materials.


  • Working with the Digital Producer, Art Director and Campaigns team, implement and deploy all e-comms within our ESP, ensuring the accuracy of all mailing lists and their segmentations.
  • Ensure all program updates are reflected on the appropriate web pages in a timely fashion.
  • Partnering with the Creative and Campaigns teams, ensure all digital ads accurately reflect the appropriate messaging and incorporate artist-approved imagery and ensure on-time delivery to our media partners.

OTHER (10%)

  • Proofread all digital marketing materials, including regular e-comms, digital ads and web pages.
  • Assist with staffing events, free concerts, program production, etc. as necessary.
  • Regularly attend SFS concerts and events.
  • Other duties as needed.


  • Strong computer and organization skills and exceptional communication skills required.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent proofreading skills.
  • Experience working with CMS platforms and ESPs. Knowledge of WordFly and Kentico are a plus.
  • Minimum of three years production experience preferred.
  • Experience working in a marketing department.
  • Works well with a variety of people and personalities in a highly fast-paced environment. Some previous management experience desired.
  • Dedication/passionate about non-profits, performing arts or music/orchestra. Knowledge of classical music a plus.
  • Qualified candidates will have high level of energy, be goal-oriented, and have the initiative to manage multiple projects simultaneously in deadline-driven environment.
  • Sense of humor, balanced work/life approach, creative, and positive, with a can-do attitude are desirable attributes.
  • College degree or equivalent experience required.
