BFM Project Manager - IWS 3.0

Job Description: Cydecor is looking for an IWS 3.0 BFM Project Manager to provide business and financial management support for ongoing efforts of the Program Executive Office for Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS). PEO IWS leads a professional and experienced organization that delivers Enterprise solutions for Naval Warfare Systems in the areas of Air Defense, Missile Defense, Undersea Warfare, Anti-Submarine Warfare, and Anti-Surface Warfare. Collectively, this team must provide effective and suitable deliveries of integrated warfare systems and technology, installed on a variety of platforms. Currently, PEO IWS is focused on enhancing mission capability across the surface fleet and submarine community with faster, more affordable, and interoperable product upgrades. The Project Manager provides BFM support to the contract effort as it relates to IWS 3.0 (Surface Ship Weapons). The Project Manager supports the full range of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution System (PPBES) as implemented in the DoD, Navy, and NAVSEA.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide BFM support to IWS 3.0 in its development of Surface Ship weapon families.
  • Support developing and improving processes required to effectively operate the organization and its infrastructure to affect strategic and tactical planning and execution within or across task areas.
  • Support PEO IWS for overall management of business financial operations, cost estimation, planning, programming, budgeting, and execution of programs.
  • Assist with statutory and regulatory financial reporting and maintain all backup documentation and related documents.
  • Provide expertise and cost models germane to Program/System type and acquisition phase.
  • Provide detailed cost analysis studies such as cost benefit analysis and historical appropriation-based financial analysis.
  • Assist in generating, updating, tracking, and consolidating Task Planning Sheets (TPS).
  • Assist in preparation/submission of the budget exhibits and responses to questions on the exhibits.
  • Support the estimation, preparation, and justification in all areas of DoD planning, programming, and budgeting.
  • Monitor obligations and expenditures status and track against benchmarks.

Education/Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field desired.
  • Significant demonstrated experience with DoD acquisition processes, in DoD program management, Industry or Government technical management, or Industry or Government business management.
  • Significant supervisory experience.
  • DAWIA Level III Program Management or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification desired.
