• Directs the activities of more junior Analysts or other staff as necessary on activities related to the application of analytical techniques and methodologies.
• Demonstrated managerial and supervisory skills.

Analyst II - Deputy Under Secretary of the Navy for Management DUSN(M)


The Analyst II shall provide the necessary resources to support Enterprise Strategy & Initiatives Branch on cross-cutting strategic management and business operations program issues such as for White House’s Executive Orders and Management Agendas, and Congressional/OMB/DOD requirements in the areas of: Regulatory Reform, Enterprise Performance Management, Enterprise Risk Management and Strategy Plan development and execution plans.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-end presentation materials, graphics, and technical writing. The Contractor shall work with stakeholders to understand organizational needs, subject matter, and strategic objectives to create products that visually convey a finding, recommendation, cause-effect, network diagram, or decision point.
  • Provide strategic planning support and shall assist in the concept, form, and content.
  • Evaluate organizational alignment associated with program effort to identify interdependencies, constraints, areas of misalignment and use this analysis to assess and support more effective planning and management of activities.
  • Provide support for governance to include development of materials to communicate strategic options, recommendations, costs/benefits, and other decision support documents.
  • Document and analyze pertinent issues using industry and Government best practices to improve organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Assess and conduct improvement activities, recommend metrics and standards for tracking program improvements, and integrate enterprise programs with those of stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain program management products such as schedules, milestone charts, discussion topics, briefing packages, meeting minutes and correspondence as required.
  • Provide implementation planning support and program outcome coordination and tracking (such as DON performance measures). For efforts that are not meeting minimum expectations, the Contractor shall provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Prepare correspondence, status reports, schedules, briefings and reports in final format from drafts, ensuring correct grammar and punctuation and maintaining copies of all working drafts and final documentation on Government customer’s internal shared drive and/or web-based documentation repository.



  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the development of solutions, recommendations, or outcome across multiple complex task.



  • Expert level proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including producing pivot charts
  • Expert level proficiency with Power Point
  • Familiarity with DoN IT business systems
  • Experience with producing impactful and informative Data Visualization graphics



  • Bachelor degree in Management, or related field



  • Active SECRET clearance required



  • Pentagon (Arlington, VA)
