Sr. Task Order Program Manager

Skills: Bachelor degree in related field required, or five (5) of the above 15 years demonstrates in-depth experience and specialized knowledge in field.
• Professional certification (Project Management Professional - PMP or equivalent) in areas of contract management, program or business management
Location: DC - Washington Navy Yard
Experience: • A minimum of fifteen (15) years of professional experience in the Defense acquisition process, program management, technical, or business management. Three (3) years of the experience must have been in the previous five (5) years, in support of DoD program management.
• Minimum of five (5) years supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of DoD program management, technical, or business management.
• Demonstrated understanding of DoD program analysis support and has knowledge of DoD systems acquisitions in the technical or program area specified in task order.

Sr. Task Order Program Manager



Job Description:

Individual is directly responsible for the Contractor’s performance of the Task Order. Task Order PM shall have a demonstrated working knowledge and understanding of the complex requirements, technical analyses, and BFM support associated with the execution of an ACAT I shipbuilding program


  • 15 years of professional experience – with five (5) years of supervisory experience
  • Experience managing technical large Navy contracts
  • Experience with overall program definition, organization, and direction of short and long range plans.
  • Experience formulating, guiding, and directing the technical approach; and defining and negotiation with activity and agency personnel for necessary resources. 
  • Experience establishing and controlling technical milestones, schedules, budgets and costs.
  • Experience with Defense acquisition process, program management, and Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) cycle is required


  • Bachelor's level degree in any technical or managerial discipline.
  • PMP Certification desired
