Consolidated Investment Group, a Denver, Colorado based privately held investment firm, is seeking an individual with varied aircraft maintenance experience. Responsibilities include managing the inspection, maintenance, preventive maintenance, service and repair of company or managed aircraft to be in compliance with all regulatory requirements, ensure aircraft is safe for flight, and that flying schedules are met. The Maintenance Supervisor is accountable for ensuring that the aircraft is maintained in accordance with regulatory requirements and that all maintenance related safety management goals are met.
•Liaising with all non-company personnel or Approved Maintenance Organizations (AMOs) performing maintenance on company or managed aircraft
•Ensuring that aircraft maintenance records as required by United States regulations, manufactures, and company policies are established and maintained
•Ensuring that Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins that effect Flight Department aircraft are complied with appropriately
•Removing from service any aircraft that is unsafe, or that do not comply with national regulatory requirements
•Know pertinent FAA regulations
•Performs scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance
•Maintain aircraft log books, status reports, historical, and administrative data as required
•Experience in 601, 604 and/or 605 Challenger aircraft preferred
•A thorough working knowledge in the repair and maintenance of airframes, hydraulics, fuel systems, and aircraft engines.
•Comprehensive understanding of quality control procedures
•Responsible for the maintenance and audit of all inventory parts
•Responsible for the cost effective procurement of all aviation parts and equipment needed in order for aviation department to operate effectively
•Coordinate handling/removal of hazardous material and waste
•Accountable for the preparation of budgets, achievement of acceptable productivity levels, and meeting financial objectives for area of responsibility.
•Establish/maintain a preventive maintenance schedule and program
•Manufactures inspection requirements
•Manufactures maintenance manuals
•Excellent knowledge and understanding of Aircraft Safety
•Understanding and excellent command of the following:
Microsoft Office Programs
Additional PC skills and Purpose Make software
Maintenance tracking program
Airworthiness Directives recordkeeping software
Aircraft Manufacture on-lines services
Aircraft engine performance tracking
Navigation & Terrain databases
Uploading & downloading data to aircraft
Using aircraft onboard diagnostic system
Various manufacture websites to report usage for billing and parts ordering
Troubleshooting aircraft systems
Basic physics: temp, press, torque, etc.
•Excellent communication skills
•Understand & follow work procedures
•5 or more years of experience required
•Experience with Challenger 604, 605 or 601 preferred
