The Test Booking Center Manager is part of the Travelzoo Production team and leads the daily operations of the Test Booking Center team that mystery-shops travel and entertainment deals. The role is also an active champion for the member experience throughout the organization and continually looks for ways to improve the quality of our processes and products.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage Test Booking Center™ staff responsible for confirming the validity of travel and entertainment advertisements and ensuring third-party partners deliver a high-quality booking experience
  • Hire and train the Test Booking Center team
  • Create work schedules, assign priorities, and ensure content is tested on schedule
  • Prepare annual budget and track expenditures
  • Develop sound quality control procedures, validate results, document and publish operating metrics
  • Document workflows and continually adapt processes to meet new product requirements and improve efficiency
  • Share information and analysis with internal business teams – including Sales, Production, Publishing and Customer Service – to deliver the highest quality content to our members
  • Identify and resolve problems that impact quality and customer satisfaction
  • Compile, analyze and summarize data and trends, including insights on productivity, failed processes, corrective actions, and cost of quality

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • A minimum of 3 years professional work experience in customer service or related field
  • Motivated leader and excellent trainer; experience managing part-time/shift employees is preferred
  • Attention to detail; ability to complete tasks in adherence with strict deadlines
  • Advanced Excel skills; strong analytical and data analysis skills
  • A passion for delivering great customer service
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexibility and ability adapt to changing business requirements
