We are currently looking for a Network Administrator to join our Information Systems (I.S.) Department located in our Administration Building in Central Phoenix!! Schedule is Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.

As an employee of the Information Systems Department, each individual is responsible for facilitating efficient and effective computer services, data collection, data storage and data retrieval to assist all SBH staff in working to meet the organizational goals.  We will provide up-to-date technology and methodology and fast, accurate disaster recovery.

The duties and responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

  • Suggest policies for appropriate use and management of LAN server systems.

  • Maintain network communication infrastructure that ensures a high quality, reliable network service and deliver systems and solutions.

  • Implement changes to configuration, user environment and data migration; support operating system activities.

  • Provides support and user education activities.

  • Cooperates with and assists other Information Technology Services staff with work related to LAN servers.

  • Responsible for maintaining compliance with the SBH software policy as well as all other appropriate SBH policies.

  • Configure and maintain routers over a MPLS and Site-to-Site IPSec VPN circuit.

  • Install all equipment within established timeframe 90% of the time.

  • Business critical software application will function properly greater than 90% of the necessary working hours per month.

  • Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.

Education & Requirements

  • Associates degree, or equivalent, in computer science or related field supplemented with 3 years of related experience.

  • In-depth knowledge and experience in LAN/WAN protocols and topologies, TCP/IP networking addressing, DNS, firewall, Intranet & Internet, remote access, network routing and switching technologies, network management, and operating procedures for optimal implementation, maintenance and operation of an enterprise network.

  • Knowledge, experience and/or management of design, development, maintenance and troubleshooting of LANs, WANs, Servers, and network printers

  • Experience of managing deployment of sound backup and recovery methodologies.

  • Knowledge of Windows NT, Unix and other related operating systems, of Local Area Network Operations

  • Must have interpersonal human relations skills and customer service skills

  • Good verbal and written communication skills required.

  • Cisco (CCENT) certification required

  • Microsoft MCSA 2008 certification is required.

  • A+, Network+, CCNA and MCSA 2012 R2 certifications is preferred.

  • Must have own vehicle as position may travel to sites within the organization. Proof of insurance is required.
