Job Qualifications:   The Data Administrator is responsible for scanning and archiving documents, and receiving engineering documentation, reviewing and loading to SharePoint.


Specific Responsibilities:

  • Scan production orders for all programs- store appropriately
  • Release documents in SharePoint- DWI’s, FAI’s, and any applicable engineering for each program and store in appropriate locations
  • Assist with As Built configurations-which will entail using the ERP system
  • Load engineering and specifications to our FTP site for vendors/suppliers
  • Verify archived production orders are scanned and comply with document retention requirements for each program
  • Receive engineering change documentation from various sources that affect product in manufacturing or inspection
  • Prepare engineering change documentation for review by various departments
  • Track input that is provided by each of the departments, using configuration management systems
  • Participate as an active member of the Configuration Control Board (CCB) to receive feedback on the resolution of the engineering change
  • Analyze configuration data to verify configuration documents are prepared, reviewed, implemented, and closed
  • Assist Engineering management to review received changes
  • Track and maintain lists of specifications used by program, and their revisions
  • Must be able to perform the duties of the document control clerk, when required


Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or MIS, and 0 to 5 years of experience in a Configuration Management field, or equivalent experience as determined by management
  • Basic knowledge of standard engineering concepts, practices, and procedures within manufacturing and inspecting product
  • Basic knowledge of Bill of Materials structures
  • Able to multi-task on various projects, and maintain accuracy of data while doing so
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite 2007 (Excel, Word, Power Point)
  • Basic understanding of data entry practices
  • Must be extremely accurate in data collection and presentation
  • Must be a U.S. Person


Physical Requirements:

  • Able to climb stairs
  • Able to lift 50 lbs.


Shift Requirements:  Some overtime may be required on occasion
