Position Summary 

The Business Systems Analyst reviews, analyzes, and evaluates user needs to create systems solutions that support overall business strategies. They will document system requirements, define scope and objectives, and create system specifications that drive system development and implementation. They will function as a liaison between MIS and our customer base of employees and partners, and have both business and technical expertise.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day administration of Aurora’s SharePoint Online tenant - creating new sites and user accounts and front-line support for user issues.

  • Identification and implementation of built-in features or 3rd-party add-ons to address specific usability issues with SharePoint Online.

  • Identification and development of workflows, using SharePoint or any other available tool, to streamline business processes.

  • Work with Communications department to redesign and build a new Intranet site that includes both static and data-driven content. 

  • Help develop reports and/or customizations for SAP Business ByDesign.

  • Support other business systems as required.

Position Requirements


  • Must be a US Person (US Citizen, Green Card Holder or US Permanent Resident).

  • Must have 5+ years of varied experience leading requirements development and implementing information systems.

  • Must have more than one of the following experience:

    • Writing code in multiple languages - .NET or SAP ABSL preferred.

    • Working with SharePoint 2013, 2016 or Online in an administrative or development capacity.

    • Supporting multiple ERP systems with SAP being a strong preference.

  • Requires excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

  • Must have the ability to multi-task and prioritize workload independently and within a team environment.

  • Must be highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills are a must.

Strongly preferred

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/Accounting/etc. or Computer Sciences/Information Technology/etc. strongly preferred. Applicable work experience could be substituted for the degree if the candidate can demonstrate the necessary aptitude.

  • Experience as a customer and as a technical support provider.

  • Experience developing enterprise-level data applications.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft cloud applications.

Nice to have

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, including programming VBA macros, is desirable.

  • Experience working with SAP or another ERP systems a plus.

  • Experience supporting SQL Server.
