The Associate Technician is an intricate part of the manufacturing operations at Aurora. They are trained on various job tasks until formal assignment to a unit is documented to perform lay-up techniques that include pre-preg or wet lay-up, cutting, bagging, and/or trimming operations or machine operations. This role must be able to demonstrate an understanding of work orders, blueprints, and lay-up charts to ensure the quality of the product. Must also be able to work with shop tools and equipment used in composite layup and assembly as well as demonstrate the ability to perform in a team environment and exhibit a willingness to “do what it takes” to ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded.
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment as well as lift and transport objects up to 40 pounds. Job requires consistent standing; some stooping, crawling, bending, crouching, climbing, and kneeling.
