JOB DESCRIPTION: 

Job Qualifications:

The Inventory Controller is responsible for kitting BOM’s (Bill of Materials), and the delivery of the kitted BOM’s into the applicable production areas.  The position will also perform monthly Cycle counting as required. Assist with raw material control. Maintain accurate inventory balances and assist with re-order points for all stocked items.

Specific Responsibilities:

Perform daily transactional task within the ERP System as they pertain to Inventory. (Training will be provided).  Take an active role with the maintenance of accurate stock balances, as well as the issuance of BOM (Bill of Material items). Report discrepancies immediately.

  • Gathering of material on the BOM
  • Disbursement of components (Prepreg materials, raw materials, core, etc.)
  • Consumables ordering
  • Delivery, Maintenance, ordering and receiving of shop supplies
  • Maintain inventory on perishables
  • Movement of shop orders to work centers
  • Conduct cycle counts
  • Maintain accurate transactional data within the ERP System.
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Demonstrate proficiency on a professional basis conducive to fostering teamwork across the different functional groups that aids in meeting facility objectives.
  • Participate in company internal audits and support customer audits as required for materials management process at Aurora.
  • Comply with all facility and operational safety and housekeeping regulations.
  • Perform work duties in a manner that is productive and conducive to respectful rapport with assigned work team.
  • Take all necessary training to maintain and build on current skills and knowledge of positions

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School graduate required. 
  • BS in Business or other related field of study preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to climb stairs and deliver parts and tools amongst three different buildings.
  • May be required to work in adverse conditions from time to time. 
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds on occasion.

Shift Requirements

6:30 to 3:00, may be asked to work alternate shifts on occasion to support company needs.
