Job Qualifications:

As part of Aurora’s Unmanned Arial Vehicle Prototype Manufacturing Team, you will fabricate and install harnesses assemblies into various types of aircraft, trouble shoot and ground/flight test electrical and avionics systems and sensors. Our technicians work from engineering drawings, schematics and production drawings with limited supervision and work closely with Engineering to resolve design issues.

 Requirements, Experience and Skills:

  • Must be a U. S. Person (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident / Green Card Holder).
  • A.S. Degree or an Equivalent Vocational or Military Technical Training
  • 5 (+) Years’ working in the avionics filed
  • A current FAA A&P or FCC license is required
  • Aircraft electronic/avionics fabrication, installation, maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of flight hardware
  • Flight line and bench skills must include excellent harness/wiring skills
  • Soldering experience in accordance with j standards is highly desired
  • Use of standard harness fabrication crimp tools
  • Working to IPC 610 standards is required
  • Recent experience working from engineering drawings, schematics and production drawings
  • Soldering in accordance with j standards is highly desired
  • Use of computer, software, and specialized equipment skills is essential
  • Demonstrated ability to apply basic math, locate information and comprehend technical material
  • Experience performing medium density surface mount soldering/repairs is highly desired
  • Capable of working on your feet or sitting at a bench for long periods of time, stooping, crawling, bending, crouching, climbing, and kneeling.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. when needed.
  • Will work day-shift with occasional overtime possible.
